The Alexandrian Tradition of Witchcraft is first and foremost a Priesthood in service to the Goddess and the God. Those interested in joining must have a vocation—a calling—to be a Priestess or Priest; therefore, not all inquiries lead to Initiation. Also, as a fertility cult, the Alexandrian Tradition adheres to the gender binary, working with the polarities of masculine and feminine, male and female.
If accepted for Initiation, all magical/religious practices and/or instruction in other traditions, groups, open or closed rituals, etc., with the exception of certain personal devotional practices, must stop so that formal training in the Alexandrian Tradition may begin. An Initiate may only have one teacher at a time. Moreover, Initiation implies one’s devotion, dedication and vocation to a single tradition.
Please consider the commitment to and frequency of coven meetings, which are several times a month. Close geographical proximity to the covenstead, although convenient, should not be a deciding factor in inquiring about the tradition and/or requesting initiation. A more suitable coven and/or tradition may be many miles from one’s residence.
Initiates must be at least 21 years of age. Adamsville Coven does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, sex, sexuality and/or gender.
All inquiries should be sent to: adamsvillecoven@gmail.com. When contacting Adamsville Coven, please address the following questions:
What is your personal history and experience with magic, the occult, paganism, Wicca/Witchcraft and/or religion in general? Please include any teachers or mentors that assisted or trained you.
Why do you want to join the Alexandrian Tradition of Witchcraft, given there are many other forms and traditions of Witchcraft and paganism in Southern New England?
Why at this moment in your life are you interested in becoming an Initiate?
